Buxton 2018 - Welcome to "THE CATHEDRAL"

A lot has changed for the better in Buxton recently.

There is a proper parking and camp ground at the base of the trails with toilets to start with and there is a gate which is closed for winter.

Yes there is now a winterclosure at Buxton so check on the website when it is open.

Now the trails :

Buxton Loop: not much has changed , still excellent , the berms have been reformed and are bigger and better than ever love the loop.

Cathedral: now the new Cathedral run , what can we say - brilliant.

A fast intermediate to advanced downhill with big jumps (good fast b-lines if you are the keep rubber to the ground rider) and some fantastic large high dirt berms.

We absolutly love Cathedral, a not to hard climb (if you take it easy) and a bomber downhill. Worth to go there for Cathedral all day long.

Buxton is going from strength to strength keep up the good work.

Buxton Victoria 2013

All Mountain riding "Special"

Buxton is a small , blink and you miss it place just over the Black Spur Range in country Victoria.Buxton itself might be small but the Buxton Bike Park is something big.

The good people of the DSE have managed to build a ripping singletrack loop that is winding through a forest full of ferns and eucalypt to create mountainbike magic.

Singletrack with Berms aplenty ,jumps and more twist an turns than you can poke a stick at. If we were looking for "FLOW" we found it and we were loving it.

Buxton will not dissapoint AllMountain riding at it's best. If you are in Victoria put it on your list, Buxton Rocks !!

Below find a couple of Vids we shot there as part of our "Chase the Flow 2013" campaign. The first one is an overvue of what to expect and the second one is the bit longer DH cut with most of the good downhill bits we encountered.
