Awaba MTB Park - N.S.W.

From the main trailhead follow clearly marked loops (mainly XC) with the longest about 15km.

These trails will show off the beautiful Awaba forest. (take time to listen out for Bellbirds along the way).

The Awaba XC trails are flowing single trails of medium difficulty.

Go there during the week and you will most likely have the trails all to yourself but the XC loops can get busy on weekends.

Awaba is home to the Monkey downhill.

This gnarly, high consequence downhill with some crazy rock gardens is not for the faint hearted.

Monkey is best shuttled (or e-biked) as the 3km climb up the Mount Faulk road is as steep as they come with a 300m elevation gain along the way.

Before riding Monkey ensure your health insurance is up to scratch and as always look before you leap.

A lot lower on the dangerscale there is Biraban.

About 1km up Mt Faulk road on your left find the Biraban trail. A blue downhill with a lot less injury consequence than Monkey.

Biraban descents about 170m before it joins up with the main Awaba XC trail network and leads into Wild Polly a great flow trail.

The Faulk line is a great flow trail which is must do when in Awaba

Ride up the Mt Faulk road and you find the start of Faulk line on you right after a short climb.
